Notes:
1) this song relied heavily on the use of 'ai' and 'koi' which have slightly different meanings in Japanese but both can only be translated as 'love' into English. Since 'ai' generally has a stronger meaning wherever the difference had to be stressed I used 'true love' and for 'koi' I used
'first love' -- not in the sense of someone's first love, but in the sense of a love just beginning.
2) where they sing 'toki' the kanji is 'shunkan' which means moment.
3) This line is a pun on 'chou' and 'sen' the kanji they used meant other words, but the reference to counting puns on the fact that those words are also numbers.
