Track 03 on the Swan Song single (limited edition)

Ha ah- Love is the mirage, some time or other.
(the) Flower blooms in the moonlight.
Truru.... La pa pa la la....

kawakikitta kokoro ni hirogaru sabaku
atemonaku boku wa samayoi tsuzuketeta
hoshi to tsuki o yomu kodoku na tabi
The desert that opens wide in my heart that grows thirsty
    I kept wandering aimlessly
Reading the stars and the moon, a lonely journey

Ichibyou no "michi" wa ichibyougo ni wa "kako"
ai ga owari hitorikiri kizuita ai no imi
The "unknown" of one second is the "past" one second later
Love comes to an end, the meaning of love I discovered all alone

Kimi omou kimochi wa gekkou ni
ukande saita shinku no hana
karasanu you wasurenu you ni
My feelings for you are in the moonlight
a deep crimson flower that bloomed into view
So it doesn't dry out, so I don't forget...

Moshimo inori ga todoku no nara
kono te de mamoru shinku no hana
kono yo ga horobiyou to mo kawari wa shinai
If perhaps my prayer should reach you
I'll protect this deep crimson flower with my own hands
Even if this world should fall to ruin that won't change

Iroaseta ai o uruosu oashisu
itsuka mita yume wa koko ni wa nai n da ne
hoshi to tsuki o yomi sagashimotome
An oasis that replenishes a love that lost it's colour
The dream I saw some day is not here, is it
Reading the stars and the moon, I keep searching for it

Michi sae nai michi wa doko e mukau no darou
kaze ga hakonda kaori ni sasoware jakouiro
I wonder where this path that isn't even a path leads
Lured by a scent carried on the wind, the colour of musk
(1)

Kimi omou kimochi wa gekkou ni
ukande saita shinku no hana
karasanu you wasurenu you ni
My feelings for you are in the moonlight
a deep crimson flower that bloomed into view
So it doesn't dry out, so I don't forget...

Kore wa houmatsu no yume na no ka
mizube no kage wa shinku no hana
jikan to hoshi no kiseki mangekyou no you
Could this just be an ephemeral dream
A shadow on the water's surface is a deep crimson flower
The tracks of time and the stars, like a kaleidoscope

Tsukiyo ni yureteru shinkirou
A mirage wavering in the moonlit night

Kimi omou sugata ga gekkou ni (2)
ukande saita shinku no hana
kakeyotta iki o kirashite
The view of you I dream in the moonlight
a deep crimson flower that bloomed into view
I ran to your side, ran out of breath

Mioboe aru kyasha na yokogao
migite o nobashita sono shunkan
oto mo naku chitte kieta shinku no hana
    The lovely profile I remembered
The moment I held out my right hand to it
Without a sound it scattered and disappeared, the deep crimson flower

Notes;
1) 'jakouiro' seems to be something Satomi put together. 'Jakou' means musk and while there is a musk rose (jakoubara), which is a warm off-white colour... I can't seem to find the actual word 'jakouiro' so I took some liberty with the translation
2) the 'omou' they use here has so many layers to it. It can mean 'dream' which is what I went with, but also 'think', 'desire', 'remember', 'look forward to' and 'imagine' leaving a lot for you to interpret (especially considering the final stanza)
