Keenly standing on tiptoe now, in order to shine, with those fangs tearing
The ordeal you face is insurmountable, those men who don't take responsibility for anything
Forced laughter...is that how it is? Is that happiness? Are there no lies?
The things they've completely filed away are not the things of living wisely
Always moving toward progress...is that all right? If that's the case, then we're all just machines, aren't we?
Wake up a burning soul inside this cold body [1]
Within the hearts of everyone there rests a wild nature
Occasionally, the chains are broken, and blood is shed!
Keenly standing on tiptoe, now in order to shine with those fangs tearing
If you tear off your clothes and let yourself go, sadness will also vanish [2]
We're being crowded out a little, but I don't care, because you're one of my own
The ordeal you face is insurmountable, those men who don't take responsibility for anything
If it's impossible...do we give up? The end of everything is nothing
I don't know if I can do this or not, I only know that much
Your trembling self bursts open, your wild nature bared
Break down the unseen wall, and howl at the moon!
Until your dying voice gives out, that soul dances to a primal scream
It looks like you're dead, but you want to be alive and nothing has meaning
When you're grieving, you depend on others, returning home like a ghost
Those who cast off the fangs which destroy the future, I have no interest in them
Within the hearts of everyone there rests a wild nature
Occasionally, the chains are broken, and blood is shed!
Keenly standing on tiptoe, now in order to shine with those fangs tearing
If you tear off your clothes and let yourself go, sadness will also vanish
We're being crowded out a little, but I don't care, because you're one of my own
The ordeal you face is insurmountable, those men who don't take responsibility for anything

[1]As in, cold to the touch, like metal.
[2]Tearing off one's clothes as a symbolism of forgetting civilization.
This song was the theme song for Megaman X8 for the Playstation. Anyone familiar with the Megaman franchise would be aware that it is a series about mechanically enhanced human beings who often question their humanity and their purposes in life as more than what they were created for (to protect society by destroying others like them who have become corrupted or were just raised to be evil), which makes the line about men who won't take responsibility for anything make sense in the context of those who experiment with this technology and are the first to revoke responsibility if something goes wrong.
