Lyrics & Music by yasu
The sadly blooming flower, I saw your face
Even though I love the rain, today is somehow cold
With a touch of melancholy, despairingly shaking with a single sigh, the fallen flower petals
Collecting the shattered moon to decorate your dreams, you sleep
Even if you were to use the sands of time, you cannot return to that place
The starry sky you unintentionally gazed upon, you have yet to find it
How many nights must pass before your tears become "strength"?
A journey through the seasons, dying the forests, playing melodies on the wind, your heart overflowing
Closely, lovingly, emotionally, painfully
It won't quite reach, you can't walk on, it won't come true since you're too far away
Now that you're not here anymore
Even knowing death like a cloud in the dust [1], the flower blooms anew with strongly vivid color
Collecting the shattered moon to decorate your dreams, you sleep
Even if you were to use the sands of time, you cannot return to that place
Closely, lovingly, emotionally, painfully
It won't quite reach, you can't walk on, it won't come true since you're too far away
Now that you're not here anymore

[1] 'chiri' can also mean ‘dust' as well as 'splash', but I took a little bit of a liberty because it doesn't sound quite right. The idea, though, is akin to the dust one would kick up when falling on the earth when one dies.
