1. Yasu-san, you used to have blond hair, but do you plan on going back to that again?
I don't think I'll be going back to blond. Even if I dye it again, it won't be blond. It was really, really blond, wasn't it? (Laughs.) Now, I'd be embarrassed and wouldn't be able to go out in public (Laughs).
2. When you write lyrics, how are you situated?
I sit on my sofa, an open notebook on my lap. I have something like a lyric book that I write in.
3. Please say something about your hometown (Hirakata, Osaka).
There's not a lot there, but it does have connections to famous artists. (Laughs.) When I was in high school, Kawasaki-san's mom stopped by the coffee shop I went to on my way home, and Okuda-kun of V6 went to the same middle school I did.
4. If you had cosmetic surgery on your face, what would you have done?
If I had cosmetic surgery...my chin. I'd like it to be more...pointy~. After that, maybe I'd just go all over...then let's do my teeth, somehow there's a lot to be done...(laughs)
5. In 2008, which album did you listen to the most?
Lately, I haven't been listening to very many albums as such. I listen to my iPod Shuffle. If I had to say one, it would be that old omnibus series, "NOW"! I wonder if young people have even heard of it...? (Laughs.)
6. I'm a student studying for exams. Please give me some great inspiring words so that I can pass.
Since I don't think you get a lot of chances in life where you can get by just doing your best, and then they never come around again after they're gone, do your best now!
7. What's your favorite onigiri ever?
Plum! I've liked it ever since I was a kid. A long time ago, I also liked tuna salad onigiri and stuff, but I like plum just as much as ever~
8. What kind of dream was the last one you remember?
I really don't dream much. A long time ago, I used to remember my dreams after waking up, but I haven't lately.
9. One morning, you wake up and you're a woman. So, what's the first thing you do?
Play with my breasts~ (Laughs.) See what they're really like, if they're big, stuff like that.
10. If you got a pet, would you get a dog or a cat?
Definitely a dog. I see cats as being cold and aloof. A dog would always play with you.
11. Which do you like better, cool girls or cute girls?
Hmm...cute girls.
12. When have you thought, "I'm getting old!" in recent memory?
Maybe when I feel like my digestion is slowing down. That feeling after waking up that dinner from last night is still around...
13. What's the trick to singing ABC songs well at karaoke?
They're tough because there are a lot of times where the pitch rises and falls quickly. If you just sing it like 'whatever~', you're sure to go off pitch; so I think it's a good idea to have a good feeling for where the pitch rises and falls and rises and falls.
14. Honestly, how many CDs do you own?
Um...I'm sure I actually have over 1000 now. I used to keep track along the way, but once I got to about 500 or so, I couldn't count them anymore, so now I don't know the exact number.
15. I'm thinking of starting a band; please give me some advice.
I don't know what genre your band is going to be, but I think the most important thing, the most fun thing, is going down that road with your best friends. So, more importantly than saying, "I'll do it with people who are really good!" or "Let's make ourselves a good band!", I think it's even greater if you go with your good friends, personalities that work with yours, so it feels like you're playing and having fun.
16. What made you really get into playing "Monster Hunter"?
Of course, the game itself is interesting, but what really did it for me is the feeling that I had finally become able to play a game like that after thinking for a long time that it would be nice if I could.
17. How long was the longest you've spent playing a game in a single day?
Maybe about 20 hours or so...I was really getting into it. I don't do that anymore, though (laughs). Even saying that, it was only 2 or 3 years ago (laughs).
18. What do you think when you're doing a show, and you hear men saying, "yasu~!"?
Oh~ I'm very happy.
19. If you have any websites you check often, please tell us what they are!
Eh~ What do I check? I guess I check the blogs of my acquaintances...though there aren't really that many. Then, maybe mail and social sites...?
20. Is the picture on your driver's license a good one?
Eh~? (Laughs.) Eh, well, if it's just between it being good or not, it's...not good (laughs). They're basically there to laugh at, aren't they?
21. Yasu-san, how many centimeters of bust makes for a well-endowed chest?
I don't really know about centimeters, but in cup sizes, a D or larger, I guess...? When we were young, they had girls called "D-cup Idols"...so if I hear "D", I think of someone with a huge chest.
22. My husband and I are in a sexless marriage. Please tell me how to deal with this.
That's hard on you, isn't it? How I see the life of a housewife is that if you have similar hobbies, you can have a lot of good times together. So, find your mutual hobbies, and maybe it will feel like going back to when you were lovers...eh, but I'm not married, so I might not have the power to help~ (laughs).
